I purchased this tool as I needed it to cut some square holes out of a TV cabinet. I was installing some fans I bought from Cooler Guys as the components were getting too hot. I try to stay away from refurbished products because I don't seem to have any luck with them. This tool however was not the case as it performed the job perfectly. I was cutting through about a half inch of wood and even though it might have taken longer than expected, it did get the job done better than expected. I'd suggest buying this if you're just going to use it for a few projects. If you're thinking about using it more than that then you should look into a more heavy duty tool.

The Dremel 6300-02L-RT Multi-Max offers excellent performance for the money. It's definitely a light duty tool for home handyman use. Every time I have a new project I try to find a way to use the Multi-Max. The only thing that I can find fault with is cutting tool life. I destroyed a cutting tool the first time I used it but the fault could have been mine and not the Multi-Max. Use it carefully, follow cautions and directions included in the tool package and you will always be glad you bought a Mulit_Max,
