True, this thing has no clip so it's not as pictured. I'd be calling Dremel to get a replacement, except for its other two fatal flaws.
Fatal flaw one is that the LED lamp is so dim as to be almost useless. Even in the sample photos, the light it casts barely shows up there.
Fatal flaw two, and far and away the worst, is that the lens is made from a cheap plastic that is warped and doesn't magnify clearly. The magnification varies across the field of view, inconsistently so. The cheap plastic is also prone to scratches and scrapes which, considering what it was designed for, that it would be in the line of chips coming off a rotary tool, was a stupid material choice.
A non-fatal flaw is that the batteries are difficult to insert and get positioned correctly.
The only good thing I can say is that the gooseneck is of a good quality that holds its position well and stays put as you move the tool around.
Not a lot to recommend this.

This is a handy little light/magnifier that attaches right to the dremel tool. You can also remove the magnifier so that you just have the light.
The only gripe I have about this tool is that the magnifier is a bit weak. It doesn't magnify objects much more than the naked eye.
Other than that, it's a quality made tool as most Dremel brand tools are.

Great product for a shop with poor lighting. I was a little put out when i opened the package and found out there was no clip on the light as shown, I called Dreamy to find a dealer for the clip and they sent me the clip "FREE OF CHARGE". Problem solved. I use it every day now. Great customer service at Dremel.

If I had known the clip was missing, I would not have ordered this product. It looks very useful with the clip. I could also not get the light to work, and the instructions are terrrible with regard to replacing the battery or even getting a clip.

I bought this as a gift and was disappointed that the clip was not included as pictured. It looks like a useful product...but would be more useful with a clip!
